Normanton Gala & Carnival 13th September 2008

With several key members away on Holiday and Work commitments we headed north for our first visit to Normanton Gala & Carnival. After arriving in plenty of time to turn the bus round three or four times, we basqued in the rare sunshine.
After shuffling either side of the Fire Engine we lead the parade through the streets of Alltofts and Normanton before reaching the field exactly on time for the 1pm opening.
