Colliers Wood 3rd & 10th July 2008

Eastwood Phoenix 2008 As part of the agreement when our two bands combined, we presented our first joint engagement under the auspice of ‘the Eastwood Phoenix Band’ at the Colliers Wood beauty spot in Eastwood.
Wearing the smart purple polo shirts embroided with the ‘Phoenix’ crest and the black trousers, the 29 members provided a musical programme on the auditorium stage to the passing visitors at the countryside park.
This Thursday evening show was the first of a two part charitable event in conjunction with the Broxtowe District Arts Festival, the second one is scheduled for Thursday July 10th. All those in attendance including the Mayor were suitably impressed with the turnout and musical contributions by the united bandsmen.
