The Band have just booked a session in a Recording Studio. This will be the Bands first attempt at making a CD and hopefully help raise a few funds.

Following a Beautiful Autumn Morning the Band have produced a few Videos
A big Thank You to Hayland Freelance Design Services for their help in Designing and Supplying the Posters and Flyers for the Christmas Fayres.
By popular demand the Band will be performing again at The Trent in Radcliffe on Trent and also in Eastwood at The Christmas Lanterns Procession.
Also the Band will be recording several Video's for the Audition with Disneyland.
With the Season finally out of the way preparations are already being made for 2014 with Engagements at Whaley Bridge, Newton, Bakewell and Sutton on Sea already confirmed and enquiries at St Patrick's day in Nottingham and London, Disneyland Paris, Cork, Potters Bar and Great Yarmouth
By popular demand and following a nice donation to through "Gift Aid" the band headed off to Hinckley in Leicestershire. Despite this being in the Holiday season 23 members turned out to entertain the Crowds in Hinckley Town Centre.
After just 5 days the Band were back on the road with a Parade at Barlow in Chesterfield.

With the weather holding out it was business as usual with Dances along the short but hilly Parade bact to the field.
A big recruitment campaign is underway to encourage ex members and semi retired members back in to action for one more time. So if anyone knows anyone who is just a little bit tempted to perform once again then send them to Alvaston Park on Wednesday at 7pm (Or St Osmunds Church Hall Opposite if raining)
Sunday 28th July saw the band travel to the East Coast for a Performance at Sutton on Sea & Trusthorpe Carnival.
The Following weekend saw the Band make a return to Ashbourne at the Ashbourne Highland Gathering where they gave two performances amongst the dozens of Pipe Bands that were competing for the English Championships.

Following last years trip to Congleton we were unable to attend the local venue of Newton but this year saw a return visit to Newton Carnival 13th July 2013
Due to popular demand and the last minute cancellation of another Band, the Chesterfield Musketeers were off to give a very rare performance in South Yorkshire in Sheffield at Woodseats Family Festival 213 7th July 2013
For the 37th year in succession the band made the short trip to Bakewell for the famous Bakewell Carnival 6th July 2013
More enquiries are coming in for both 2013 and 2014 season in Wales, Scotland and London to name three.
July comes along with the New Sponsorship deal from "Carvery Heaven" with commemorative Polo Shirts celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the formation of the Band back in 1953
For the second time in a week the Band head again towards the Peak Forest and this time to New Mills Carnival and Parade.
June 15th saw the Band head to the Peak Forest and a performance at Chapel en le Frith Carnival. Thank fully the rain held off for the afternoon to allow the Parade to be completed dry. After a few alterations to the positions of key members an excellent performance and interaction was given by everyone including the following The Billerettes
After a fortnight of secrecy it was finally official that Honorable President Trevor Oldfield had been nominated and successfully Won the "Lifetime Achievement Award" sponsored by Peak FM and Drainage 2000 at The Proact Stadium
Hasland Gala this year coincided with the opening of the Improvement Works this year and on a beautiful day a fantastic turnout was there to witness the opening and support the "Friends of the Park"
The following week the Band head off on Friday afternoon for their first ever performance in Scotland. Following a conversation during their appearance in St Helier in Jersey the previous August the Band were requested to appear at the Bathgate and John Newland Festival 2013.
On Bank Holiday Monday the Band appeared at the Chesterfield "Parade of Witness'" on a beautiful Spring Day leading the Mayoral Procession around the Town Centre.

Bank Holiday Sunday is a different style of event for the Musketeers with the Annual Charity Football Match at The Proact Stadium. With the Masters team lead by Manager Kevin Oldfield take on the Youngsters lead by Lead Drummer Craig (Yogi) Oldfield. After the first two years games ended in 4:4 and 2:2 draws this years game could be the big decider.
Starting a Fun Packed Bank Holiday weekend the band are co hosting the Third of the "Carvery Heaven" Supported Charity Fun Days with a show at "The Railway"
The 6th of May sees the second Charity Fun Day with another Static performance from the Band during the afternoons events at The Ashwood. There are still spaces available for more Charity Stalls and Attractions.
The Band performed a brief and spontaneous Static spot in the Shopping area of Radcliffe on Trent. This was followed by a short parade to "The Trent" Pub for the afternoons Charity Fun Day.he Display is well on the way and is being polished ready for the Summer Season.
On a wet and windy day the Band participated in the Nottingham St Patricks Day Parade through the City Centre of Nottingham. Thankfully the Rain stopped just after the Parade finished.

March 17th St Patricks Day Parade has been confirmed.
Plenty of Enquiries are flooding in but due to reasons beyond our control these are declined.
