A repeat performance was requested, No Demanded by "Carvery Heaven" but at their newest Pub at Radcliffe on Trent
December arrived along with the cold Winter weather but so did the "Christmas Fayre", Santa and not forgetting Jeff the Reindeer.
On a cold and Wintery Tuesday evening the Band lead the Eastwood Lights Parade down the High St followed by a 30 minute static display in the Library Square.
It is with sadness that we announce that Ian Reeve sadly passed away after a very short battle with Cancer. His funeral will be held at 1pm on Thursday 22nd November. Donations are welcome to The Macmillan Trust & Ashgate Hospice.
Practices are well in hand with the final three engagements of the year fast approaching.

A request has come in to attend 2013's Battle of Flowers in Jersey along with two Engagements in Scotland at Lockerbie and Bathgate.
The band have been booked for Newton Carnival 2013.
We are also planning to hold a Christmas Fayre at The Ashwood in Alfreton with Santa Claus and K+Jake his real life Reindeer.
On Monday 13th August Audrey Fearn sadly passed away after a long illness. Audrey first joined the Chesterfield Toppers back in the 70's and continued her association as Committee member and Costume Assistant right through to the present day. Her funeral will be at Chesterfield Crematorium on 28th August 2012 at 14:50.
Rest In Peace Audrey you will never be far from our thoughts.
9th Aug Battle Day arrives and so does the Sunshine. Jersey Battle of Flowers Battle Parade 2012
7th Aug It's off to Jersey for the Bands 7th visit to the prestigious Jersey Battle of Flowers
4th Aug - With a free weekend scheduled to allow time for the final arrangements, Lights and Dry Cleaning to be completed ready for the Bands 7th visit to St Helier to appear in the 110th Jersey "Battle of Flowers" along with this years Mr Battle "Matthew Wolfenden" David Metcalfe from Emmerdale Farm.
The last Engagement of July was Sutton on Sea 29th July 2012. Thankfully the Rain stayed away till after the Parade.
Bamford Carnival was next on the Agenda, but with Days of Rain and reports that Bamford had suffered more than others, The Show Went On.
After just two months of undergoing a full knee replacement the Manager Trevor (71 & 3/4) returned to full practice as part of his physiotherapy. Good luck and hope the pain is more bareable.
Despite 6 full days of Rain there was a brief break for the annual Bakewell Carnival on 7th July. After changing the venue and the start for the motorized entrants due to H&S, everything else was set to go on as normal. There was even a torrential down pour for 30 minutes prior to the parade but even this stopped on que at 3pm.
Ravensknowle Carnival was sadly cancelled due to Health & Safety caused by the torrential Rain.

In heavy rain the band LEAD the Parade in the Peak Forest at Chapel en le Frith on Saturday the 16th of June
On Sunday 10th June the Band performed locally at Hasland Carnival
Chesterfield Parade of Witness' on the 4th of June was successfully dry this year, with the band starting off the 2012 season later than normal. The Parade included a live performance on BBC Radio Sheffield.
ln to June and the Band are extremely busy with the finishing touches to the Parade Dances for 2012.
Sunday the Band have organized a Charity Football Match at the B2Net Stadium, Home of The Johnstone Paints Trophy Champions Chesterfield FC. Entry is free and everyone is welcome. All proceeds raised will be given to Charity.

Enquiries are still flooding in and the Band are struggling to fulfil every enquiry. Due to other commitments the band are unable to commit to every enquiry.
Outside Practices commence along with the start of the wettest April on record.
The band start 2012 Season with a performance at Brook Leys School in Eastwood. This was to celebrate the retirement of one of the Schools long serving teachers.
The display is all sorted and awaiting reasonable weather to start the outside practices.
After several more enquiries engagements are now being taken on a selective basis, with any Engagement not undertaken another Band is recommended to cover the event.
Plenty of Enquiries are flooding in but due to reasons beyond our control these are declined.
