All attention is being diverted ready for the next engagement in Heanor at the Remembrence Parade on the 13th November.
Congratulations go to Kevin & Becky Oldfield on their marraige on the 14th October. Good Luck to them on their Honeymoon in Grand Canaria and their future together.
Preperations are already being made for 2012 with a few Changes to next years performances and also the Invitation to appear at next years Battle of Flowers in Jersey (Already).
Concluding the Summer season was their own Hollingwood Charity Fun Day on 21st August
On their return from Jersey it was straight back in to action with a short trip to Barlow Carnival 20th August.
With just one week off to pack their cases the Band head to the Nottingham East Midland Airport on route to the Island of Jersey and their 6th trip for The Battle of Flowers
On the last day of July the Band started the Holiday Season with it's annual trip to Sutton on Sea.
Saturday 23rd July saw the band make a return to Tupton Carnival. Thankfully the weather was glorious and along with a well run Carnival a good day was had by all.
This weekend sees the Band head in to the Home of "Peak Practice" Crich Fete despite the Holiday period hitting the ranks hard.
Newton Carnival with the lucky record of never raining at the Carnival in 13 years the Band head to the next village for their first appearance.
Church Warsop Thankfully another dry day but sadly the Camera and Cameraman was absent.
Bakewell Carnival on 2nd July is one of the most enjoyable venues of the season, and thankfully the weather topped of an excellent day. Sadly the memory Card decided to give up the ghost so the only photo's of the day come from the spectators and supporters on Facebook.
Whaley Bridge on 25th of June was yet another wet weekend but the weather could not dampen the Bands spirits. Thanks to the kind sentiments given to the bands performance from the Main Sponsor of the Whaley Bridge Brass Band.
Chapel en le Frith on the 18th of June was the second trip into the Peak Forset in two weeks and thankfully just as the members visited the local Pub for refreshments the Heavens opened.
Hasland Carnival on Sunday 12th June was sadly spoilt by the down pour of rain for 4 hours.
New Mills Millers Parade on Saturday 11th June, was also a return trip for the 10th year. Thankfully as theme of rain continued the band managed to complete their performance before the rain started.
Rugeley Charter Fayre on the 4th of June was a return visit from 2010.
ln to June and the Band are extrememly busy with the finishing touches to the Parade Dances for 2011.
After the demise of the East Midland Carnival Band Contests more Engagement enquiries have been coming in from Old Contesting venues. Chech the Diary to see where the Band will be performing this year.
Sunday the Band have organised a Charity Football Match at the B2Net Stadium, Home of League Two Champions Chesterfield FC. Entry is free and everyone is welcome. All proceeds raised will be given to Charity.

Enquiries are still flooding in and the Band are struggling to fulfil every enquiry. Due to other commitments the band are unable to commit to every enquiry.
March kicks off well with news of a £5,000 Grant to purchase 13 new Instruments for it's members. This will be spent on 2 New Yamaha Alto's, 3 Yamaha Trumpets and 8 Premier Drums.
Sara has managed to collect several old, worn, unwanted Brass Instruments donated by old members along with a few old learner items no longer required. These are being cleaned and polished for selling of very cheaply to create space in the East Wing Training Room.
Amati Alto Saxs, Corton & B&H Tenor Saxs, Trombones, Euphoniums, Cornets and Side Drums all available.
Enquiries are coming in on a daily basis and the season is filling out very nicely. Due to the popularity of the band and the dates already taken there have been 14 Enquiries that we have been unable to attend.
The Band have organised a Charity Football Match at the Home of Chesterfield F.C. The B2Net Stadium. With the Sponsorship and Support of PUB SMARTT COMPANY www.Pub Smartt Company 30 lucky players will play on the Hallowed Turf of League Two team Chesterfield for the PUB SMARTT COMPANY TROPHY

After the cold spell the Band are eager practicing ready for the 2011 Season. Introducing new music and a new display to entertain everone.
